Amorphous and Nanocrystalline Cores
Tape-wound toroidal and oval cores made of nanocrystalline VITROPERM® or amorphous VITROVAC® offering low losses over the full permeability range between µ~3,000 to µ>100,000.
9% to 27% Cobalt-Iron Alloys VACOFLUX
Cobalt-Iron alloys have the highest saturation polarization of all known magnetic alloys. The low cobalt content VACOFLUX® qualities were developed to offer an attractive price level for well defined applications.
49% Cobalt-Iron Alloys VACOFLUX and VACODUR
Thanks to their high magnetic saturation of up to 2.4 T, the cobalt-iron (CoFe) alloys VACOFLUX® and VACODUR® are generally suitable for all applications where high flux density and minimum weight are required.
Qualities with a cobalt content of 49 % and 2 % vanadium are offering in addition low coercivity forces and therefore best possible parameters for highest performance electric motors/generators and magnetic actuators.
With adapted annealing temperatures, the VACODUR alloys can be used to satisfy demanding strength requirements, e.g. for high speed rotations.
