Introduction of the Rare Earth Magnet Security Act (“REMSA”)
eVAC Magnetics applauds the introduction of H.R. 1946, the Rare Earth Magnet Security Act of 2025 (“REMSA”), led by Representatives Reschenthaler (R-PA) and Swalwell (D-CA). This legislation will support U.S. rare earth permanent magnet production and bolster economic and national security.
eVAC Magnetics, which is part of the VAC Group, is constructing a first-of-its-kind U.S. permanent magnet manufacturing facility in Sumter, South Carolina, with a supply chain that will be fully independent from Chinese supplies.
