PCIM 2023 - Our Highlights for an Electrified Future

General Information

PCIM Europe is the international meeting point for power electronics and their applications. Every year more than 450 exhibitors from all over the world present the entire value chain of power electronics in Nuremberg: from the components up to control and packaging and finally the intelligent system. Among the current focus topics is mainly electromobility, which is becoming increasingly important as a field of application of power electronics. More than 10,000 highly specialized trade visitors from all fields of application of power electronics use this platform to inform themselves about current topics and trends in the industry as well as the latest product innovations, to find targeted products and solutions for the relevant professional experience and to network with colleagues.

What`s new? VAC Product Highlights

At this year's PCIM, we presented several innovative product highlights for e-mobility and industrial applications of the future.

benvac 3rd Gen.

The new generation of our benvac sensor is available and will be highlighted at the PCIM.

benvac is a differential current (DI) sensor specifically developed for EV-charging providing all-current sensitivity. The sensor can trigger an automatic shut-off in case of hazardous electrical faults (DC and AC) according to IEC 62752 or UL2231.

VACOCOIL

Large industrial drives and electric vehicle drivetrains, as well as high-power on-board chargers, require high attenuation at high currents. Common Mode Chokes (CMCs) with the patented VACOCOIL design offer improved attenuation at high frequency (f > 1 MHz) compared to standard designs.
