Quality and Safety
The sustainable customer satisfaction and the resulting success of our company is achieved through our ability to meet the requirements and expectations of our customers and interested parties in the long term.
To achieve this goal we have made the strategic decision to introduce, maintain and continuously improve a quality management system.
On the basis of documented procedures and interfaces, we actively manage and control the interacting processes and resources in order to create the values required to achieve the desired results.
Quality Management System
In our processes we implement the principles of a modern quality management, such as customer focus, process approach and continuous improvement.
Through regular internal and external auditing, we obtain transparency about the effectiveness of our quality management system in meeting defined customer requirements and standards.
In order to optimally serve our growth markets, we have implemented the following standards:
- ISO 9001
- IATF 16949
- EN 9100
- ISO 14001
In addition, the requirements of ISO 50001 (energy management) are taken into account at the Hanau site.
Quality Assurance
Stable and sustainable products and processes not only demand our customers and relevant standards, but are also an essential aspect for maintaining and further expanding our market position.
To achieve sustainable product quality, we have implemented core tools, the well-known tools of modern quality management, as an integral part of our processes.
Our quality assurance covers all relevant topics from the development of new products and processes, their transfer into series production up to the continuous optimization of our worldwide production
Safety, Health, Environmental Protection and Energy "SAFETY FIRST, in everything we do!"
We assume special responsibility for our employees and attach importance to global standards in occupational safety and environmental protection at all our locations. In addition, the Hanau site complies with the requirements of DIN EN ISO 50001 (energy management system).
Furthermore we are in close contact with our representatives of the authorities in accordance with accident legislation. We communicate not only reportable but also non-reportable incidents openly with our contact persons. As a result of the intensive commitment of our employees, there has never been a major event in the long history of VAC.
In the context of implementing our strategic and operational goals, we are particularly committed to sustainability in production. In Consequence, we minimize the environmental impact and reduce the used resources equally.
VAC is certified according to TISAX at the Hanau locations. You can view the test results in the ENX portal.
